Why working from home could be your first real step to financial security
No matter your circumstances, I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to consider the idea of working from home. For many, the prospect of being self employed seems more like a dream, and is usually outside of our traditional comfort zone. Well, I am here to tell you that you can be your own boss if you’re only willing to take the risks! Chances are, the only thing holding you back is the fear of the unknown!!!
Guess what:
- If you’re unemployed – You’ve got nothing to lose!
- If you’re under-employed – Hey, you’ve probably got nothing to lose!
- If you’re working for "the man" and you want to "be the man", you had better start working for yourself!
- If you’re just plain tired of scraping by and want to make more money, the fact is, you may need to work for yourself to create that opportunity, even if it’s part time.
- If you have a high school education, and you want to make a lot more money, owning your own business may be the only answer to making $60K, $70K, $80K or more a year.
Heck, we need more entreprenuers and new business owners working from home, opening offices, and expanding the private sector. We need more work from home business people filling short and long-term needs in the private sector, and just as importantly, these new entreprenuers create needs that must be filled – as only the private sector can do. That’s how we’re going to get this economy rolling again. People just like you, taking a chance and putting people back to work one person at a time!
If you know someone unemployed, under-employed or looking to become self-employed, share this website with them. We’ll be talking about a lot of different topics and a lot of opportunities! So, let me take this moment to let you in on a few secrets. Well, they really aren’t secrets, they’re simply concepts that represent real truths that most people, especially politicians and political pundits, tend not to think about when talking about the unemployed, under-employed, and those trapped in the welfare state of mind. Why is that? Well, I’ll have to let you figure that one out on your own. What you do need to understand in today’s economic reality is really straight forward:
- Depending upon government agencies to solve the problems in your life will usually lead to compounding problems and will rarely have a net positive affect of improving your long-term personal financial situation.
- Unemployment benefits will run out and when they do, you may find yourself looking at the first item in this list. What could be worse than that? The longer you are unemployed the harder it will be for you to find work. No amount of legislative action will stop a business owner from looking at how long you’ve been unemployed and asking, "Is this guy lazy and milking the system that I’m having to fund?"
- Contrary to what you’ve been hearing, government does not create jobs, or wealth for that matter. Sure, a government agency can add staff (new jobs), but that will always come at a direct cost to the private sector’s ability to create even more jobs.
- Envy of others will change nothing and only serve to stifle your own personal growth. It will create anger, suffocate creativity, and in the end, rarely result in anything that will change your own personal circumstances. The fact is, you want to learn from those who are where you want to be so that you can one day put yourself in a position to create positive and meaningful changes in your own life.
So why do you not hear these really simple concepts from those that regulate business? Frankly, a lot of these politicians depend upon our misery for their own personal success. A bloody shame! The good news is, we don’t need them! So stick around, and I promise you will learn a few things, get some great tips and find the encouragment we all need to maximize our own individual potential!
